“I was given assignments that had real application right away and I got to apply a lot of the skills I have learned throughout my college career, particularly in SolidWorks. It has been convenient to be using the same CAD program that we have been learning at Dayton as well. They have given me a variety of tasks to do and exposed me to both the design and manufacturing concentrations that I felt I was going in to see which I liked better. They also gave me a lot of freedom on how to approach designing something, and then would give me feedback on what they liked or maybe thought could be a little different and how I could change it.”
