E-Commerce Internship
Pixel Connection is Ohio’s premiere camera store serving customers both online and in store at all skill levels. We are currently seeking dedicated and enthusiastic E-Commerce Intern.
Responsibilities
• Support e-commerce team by creating listings for products and services
• Assist in the development and strategy behind Pixel Connection’s on-line expansion
• Increase your understanding of the coordination between functional areas to deliver the best business results
• Work closely with management, customers and associates to maximize e-commerce business potential
• Pursue professional development through hands-on learning
• Participate in meetings and provide feedback with cross functional partners.
• Gain an understanding of the role of Merchandising, Planning or Allocation in the product life cycle specific to the on-line world
• Provide research, maintenance and support for assigned departmental projects and tasks as assigned
• Optimize website content to increase search marketing rankings
Requirements
• Strong academic record, all majors welcome but concentration or major in business or computer science is a plus.
• Detail oriented individual with strong organizational, communication, time management and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Ability to multi-task and work independently in a fast-paced, challenging environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
• “Can do” attitude and ability to promote teamwork
• Experience with Magento or similar online e-commerce platform
• Experience with entry level HTML or CSS or the desire to learn
