The Company
Parkwood LLC is a private financial services company based in Cleveland, Ohio. Employing over 60 people, Parkwood and its wholly-owned subsidiary, the Parkwood Trust Company, serve the interest of the Jack, Joseph and Morton Mandel families, their associated trusts, partnerships, foundation, and other entities. Parkwood and the Parkwood Trust Company offer a full array of trust company services including investment management, trust administration, charitable planning, multi-generational tax and estate planning, accounting, tax return preparation, assistance with legal matters, and other professional services.
 
The Position
The role of the Information Technology function is to develop, implement and manage IT systems and solutions to further Parkwood’s goals and objectives. The IT Intern’s main responsibility will be to assist the IT Team in implementing and supporting IT systems and applications. The IT intern will provide technical support and consulting to staff. The IT intern will help streamline business processes and access to information.
 
Responsibilities
The responsibilities of the position include:
·      Configuring computers from base operating system up
·      Installing and upgrading hardware, network and software
·      Providing technical support and troubleshooting of hardware, network and software
·      Assisting with the execution of the information security program
·      Researching and testing of new technologies
 
Background and Work Experience
·      Pursuing Bachelor’s degree or recent graduate in Computer Science, Engineering, CIS or MIS
·      Proficiency in Microsoft Windows Operating Systems (Windows 10)
·      Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
·      Experience with Microsoft Windows Server, Exchange Server and SQL Server

·      Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
