Digital Marketing Intern

MarshBerry is looking to hire a Digital Marketing Intern to help develop and implement outreach and promotional campaigns to boost brand engagement and increase revenue. This is a part time position 20 hours per week in our Cleveland (Woodmere Village) Office.

The duties and responsibilities include:
  • Assist in managing social media channels (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube) and editorial calendar to ensure content is timely, relevant, and engaging.
  • Assist in executing MarshBerry’s social media campaigns and developing best practices and brand guidelines for social (e.g. graphic elements, hashtags, etc.)
  • Help to create list of approved hashtags across MarshBerry business lines and events and socialize internally.
  • Prepare bi-monthly updates and reports to track growth and success rates of campaigns.
  • Ensure adapted messaging is being executed online appropriate for each platform .
  • Help identify leaders and influencers (internal/external) to follow and engage in for brand extensions
  • Create and maintain rolling holiday calendar and engaging “day of” celebrations (e.g. National Insurance Nerd Day, etc.). Work with graphic design on image library and internal communications for integration of employee activities.
  • Work with marketing team on digital advertising campaigns and reporting
  • Help collect content for weekly internal staff eNewsletter and help promote social media engagement

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Ability to take initiative, employ good judgment, and manage projects from beginning to end.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Exceptional ability to manage details.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and to anticipate next steps or needs.
  • Work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Be available for at least 20 hours a week.
  • Currently enrolled upper class (or undergraduate junior/senior, grad student) level student in the liberal arts or equivalent work experience. 
  • Proficient in digital media platforms (LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, WordPress) and understanding of and web/social media management and measurement tools (e.g. HubSpot, Google Analytics).
  • Adobe Creative Suite experience a plus.
