Production Engineering Co-op Spring 2022

Production Engineering Co-op
Tylok Production Engineering co-op students engage in projects that implement production processes and procedures, lead productivity improvements, improve the quality and safety of products and processes, and enhance profitability through reduced operating costs. Co-op students impact key performance indicators directly and deliver preventative actions that maximize the success of the enterprise.

While co-op students work primarily with engineers and other engineering co-op students, Tylok encourages interaction with the full cross-section of the enterprise, from machinist through executives and ownership.

Individual projects are typically assigned from a managed list of pre-approved projects driven by Tylok’s strategic plan, but some projects may be assigned in response to emerging demands. Progress is reviewed by the General Manager at project milestones and by senior management and ownership at project completion. Co-op students are encouraged to set and pursue personal goals, in addition to meeting project deadlines.
