Role Summary/Purpose:
The Human Resources Co-Op position will support the HR team by executing our key HR initiatives, providing available and responsive internal employee support, and drive HR functional excellence and process improvement (January 2022- June 2022). Candidate must be available to work 25-40 hours per week throughout the duration of the program.  
In the role of HR Co-Op, you will be provided opportunities to take the skills you have learned and use them in real world applications.

Qualifications/Requirements: 
·      Must be enrolled in an accredited 4-year college or university program pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, Economics or a related discipline
·      Must be in good academic standing and maintain a minimum 3.0 out of 4.0 overall grade point average
·      Must be available to work during the semester for 6 months
·      Minimum 1 year left before graduation

Essential Responsibilities: 
In addition, as the Human Resources Co-Op, you will:

·      Provide employees and managers with an available first point of contact for questions and guidance on fundamental HR topics and issues
·      Escalates concerns beyond their scope to HR Business Partners and or HR Managers
·      Collaborate with the HR managers, Recruiting, Compensation & Benefits, HR Operations, Labor & Employment on specific activities and tasks
·      Actively support HR initiatives (including but not limited to awarding, engagement, talent development)
·      Support identifying recruiting needs, facilitate screening, testing and selection of applicants with leaders
·      Assist with other HR special projects or initiatives as needed
