Legal - Risk Management Intern

JOB SUMMARY: 
The Risk Management Intern works with the risk management team, comprised of Legal, Compliance and Governance professionals, to assist with executing the Company’s Enterprise Risk Management Program. Conducts research and analysis, prepares materials, and participates in risk discussions and meetings with key stakeholders. 
   
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Assists with the preparation of materials for monthly risk and oversight committee meetings
  • Conducts research and prepare materials to facilitate risk discussions
  • Works with the Company’s risk assessment software and programs to facilitate risk assessments
  • Assists with reviewing reports and analyzing data to facilitate compliance risk monitoring activities
OTHER FUNCTIONS:
  • Assists with the review of Company policies and procedures
  • Assists with the preparation of materials for regulatory filings
  • Assists with vendor reviews and vendor management program risk analysis
  • Performs other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and Experience:
  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in business, finance, risk management, legal or related field at an accredited four-year college or university
  • If undergrad, junior or senior status required
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0
  • Prior internship or co-op experience preferred
  • Demonstrated leadership through extracurricular activities
PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATION(S):
  • None required
TECHNICAL SKILLS
  • Intermediate level proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook)
