Marketing & Sales Development Program

Responsibilities
Moen’s Marketing and Sales Development Program (MSDP) will accelerate the development of marketing professionals through targeted, holistic training and experiences. Our 2-year program offers recent graduates the opportunity to participate in four structured rotational experiences at our global headquarters, with assignments in Product Marketing, Channel Marketing, Brand Marketing and Sales.

Moen’s MSDP will give each participant the opportunity to establish relationships and develop critical skills through diverse learning opportunities. Every participant also is assigned a mentor for additional guidance and support as they build their marketing career.
Following the completion of Moen’s MSDP, the participant will transition into a permanent role in our marketing organization at our global headquarters in North Olmsted, OH.
Rotational assignments will include:
Product Marketing
  • Learn from our collaborative product team to execute on product plans and own key aspects of product lifecycle management
  • Conduct analysis and provide recommendations on ways to drive results while building an in-depth knowledge and understanding of the market
  • Utilize analytical skills to perform market and portfolio analytics
Channel Marketing
  • Assist with channel-specific marketing strategies to achieve financial objectives
  • Partner with Product Marketing teams to identify and implement growth initiatives
  • Establish a strong foundation of cross-functional leadership by collaborating with Sales, Product Marketing, Marketing Services and Global Brand Marketing
  • Gain Business Intelligence exposure on the measurement and analysis of channel data
Brand Marketing
  • Gain an understanding of the critical functions of our Brand Marketing team through the development of brand-focused content
  • Develop critical thinking skills in creative, merchandising and product commercialization
  • Assist with identifying, planning and implementing key marketing initiatives
Inside Sales
  • Services customers by presenting our value proposition and meeting the customers' needs
  • Gain an understanding of our sales structure and strategy while supporting field sales.
  • Build key relationships with our customer base and sales organization.


Qualifications

 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales or related field is required.
  • Demonstrated ability to be a team player with skills to participate in cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated analytical skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Advanced computer skills (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word).
  • Leadership in an extra-curricular activity, campus organization or through professional experiences is preferred.
  • Willing to be located in Cleveland, OH for all rotations and permanent assignment following completion of Moen’s MSDP.
