Music Therapy Intern
- Assess, develop, implement, and evaluate music therapy interventions to address the age specific psychosocial and physiological needs of hospitalized adults and their families
- Plan and implement music therapy groups for inpatients/outpatients/staff
- Mentor practicum students/volunteers as appropriate
- Professional growth, information sharing and collaboration
- Create and implement innovative ways to expand visibility, research, accountability in music therapy profession
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Masters in Music Therapy (pending completion of internship)
- Completion of bachelor's or master's course work for music therapy from an AMTA approved college or university
- Member Student American Music Therapy Association
- Completion of a minimum of 100 hours of music therapy practicum
