Actuarial Analyst
Company Overview:
Our company focuses on the design, implementation and maintenance of qualified retirement plans. These plans are individually-tailored for closely-held businesses and we provide complete consultation and actuarial services in one integrated company. Our practice is growing and we are looking to hire an Actuarial Analyst so we can continue to service our clients to the level they have come to expect.
We are known in the region for developing creative retirement plan designs and programs for non-publicly traded corporate clients. The Analyst will service clients in all aspects including, but not limited to answering client phone calls, researching and answering client questions, consulting with clients on plan design matters, and performing various duties relating to the administration of defined benefit plans and defined contribution plans.
Experience with Cash Balance Pension Plans and Employee Stock Ownership Plans are a plus. Strong EXCEL skills are required.
Duties:
· Prepare and Coordinate Filing of 5500 Forms
· Scrub census payroll data for accuracy
· Reconcile Trust Assets
· Run and review compliance testing including HCE and Key Employees determination, Top Heavy, ADP, ACP, 402(g), 401(a)(4), 410(b), 414(s) AND 415
· Leads effort to create Annual Valuation Reports and Allocation Reports
· Prepares documents for transmittal and file copies for record keeping
· Creation and maintenance of electronic and paper files as needed.
· Coordinate with Office Manager and other Admin staff as necessary.
