eCommerce Internship

Note: This is an in-person internship; remote work is not available. We are flexible with hours and with starting/ending dates. We will consider anywhere from 30 - 40 hours per week and will offer a schedule of either 4 or 5 days per week. This is a paid internship, will discuss hourly pay during the initial phone interview.
 
Summary: The role of the eCommerce Intern will be to work within our eCommerce Team to support product and customer initiatives. This intern will be reviewing and researching the data to monitor, measure, and identify areas for improvements in areas such as merchandising, digital shelf share, etc.
 
Primary Tasks and Responsibilities
  • Identify key areas for improvements, such as merchandising, paid placement and digital shelf share.
  • Leverage internal & external analytic(s) to monitor and measure KPIs.
  • Transform data into operational insights and opportunities.
  • Research online competitors, providing insights beneficial to market share growth.
  • Identify & track online promotions across our ecommerce partners.
  • Develop solutions to integrate external data points into internal analytic tools (eg Qlik).
 
Necessary Specialized Training, Knowledge, Skill, and Abilities
  • Working towards a bachelor’s degree in business management, marketing, or data science. Must be a second-year student or beyond.
  • Highly organized, analytical, and technically minded.
  • Proficient in various data analysis techniques and procedures.
  • Excellent report writing and presentation abilities.
  • Able to orient data analytics insights with the end-user in mind.
  • Professional, punctual, and goal driven.
  • A team player with great communication skills.
